JAKARTA, Aug. 17 (JDN.id) – A few days prior to the official opening of 18th Asian Games on Saturday afternoon, many are bemoaning to get tickets to watch the Games as the system of the official online ticketing owned by Kiostix has been down.
Indonesia Asian Games Organizing Committee (Inasgoc) is trying to overcome the problem by providing other alternative tickets providers.
“Aiming to improve service to the people, they can buy opening ceremony and matches of Asian Games 2018 tickets online through Blibli.com and offline through retail shops Alfamart,” Inasgoc said in a statement, received by JDN.id on Friday.
Foreigners who want to watch the Games complained about the lack of services and international language guidance provided by Kiostix. Indonesians also complained about difficult access to get tickets for Asia’s biggest sports event, a Twitter user Raya Fahreza said on Friday.

“We (Inasgoc) as the organizer are committed to giving our best for the success of Asian Games 2018 and always try to overcome each problem encountered,” Erick Thohir, chair of Inasgoc said in the statement.
The organizer said by engaging Blibli.com and Alfamart, people will have more options to purchase the Games tickets.
Kiostix stated in a statement the company has provided two booths for those who have e-vouchers to exchange them with tickets in the following locations:
-Gate 7 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta
-Kiostix’ office at Pejaten Barat Street No. 6, South Jakarta 12510.
