JAKARTA, Aug 11. (JDN.id) – The Kaizen Experience Pilates sport studio or KX Pilates has opened its first camp in Indonesia on Saturday.
“I saw the innovation of KX Pilates is different from other pilates style,” said Regita Cahyani, franchise developer and owner during the opening ceremony in South Jakarta.
“I also want to promote healthy lifestyle,” added Cahyani who has been doing pilates for about 20 years.
The founder and CEO of KX Pilates Aaron Smith explained that he opened the first studio in Australia in 2010 after his encounter with the style during his stay in London.
“KX is high performance, high intensive version (of pilates),” Smith explained.
Anyone from 16 to 70 years old, depending on the strength of the body, can start their pilates training at KX Pilates studio, he said.
The first KX studio is located on the first floor of Crumble Crew at Sudirman Central Business District in South Jakarta. Cahyani expected to open the second studio in Kemang area by 2019.
“Why I bring KX Pilates here is because I saw that in Australia it’s growing so fast,” Cahyani explained.
KX Pilates has 49 studios across Australia. Jakarta is the first one outside the country.
Cahyani expected to have 20 studios in the next five years in Jakarta and surroundings and there is a potential to open in other cities.
Free trials are offered in August. Classes are divided into four categories -beginner, intermediate, advanced and specialised- and facilitated by eight trainers.
