see JAKARTA, July 24 (JDN.id) – An Indonesian senior photographer Hariyanto Boejl has released a mini ballad-music album on Tuesday with title Kontlemplasi, or contemplation.
After more than 20-years working as photo journalist for an Indonesian media outlet, in 2016, Boejl who loves to singing, finally braved enough to show his voice in public.
source site Thank to an Indonesia soul music singer Maxi Bahajjaj who encouraged him to show Boejl talent in music through Walk of Fame event in South Jakarta that year.
get linkfollow site That was Boejl’s first music concert that was prepared by Bahajjaj within three months after he found Boejl talent.
get link “Since 2016, I started singing in public,” Boejl said in the press conference of the launching.
“This mini album contains of three songs which is about my contemplation of my life journey, including as a journalist. Nowadays, many said that it’s easy to buy journalists (for making news, hopefully I am not one of them,” Boejl said.
Besides about his life journey, one of the song tells about the beauty of Indonesia in its diversity that he experienced during his photo journalism career.
“He has strong voice characteristic…this album contains of song-poems inspired by 80s and 90s songs,” Yusri Amri, the album arranger said.
Three songs in Boejl music album are titled Kontemplasi, Introspeksi or introspection and Negeri Pelangi or Rainbow Country.
On that night, Boejl made a mini-concert to release the album that can be found i Youtube and Minutes45.
The concert was supported Indonesia’s lenders Bank Negara Indonesia and Bank Mandiri, pulp and paper firm APP Sinar Mas, mining company Adaro, telecommunication provoder XL Axiata and consumer firm Garudafood.
Boejl also was awarded by Jarak Aman community for his contribution in road safety campaigns through songs.
