source site JAKARTA, July 16 (JDN.id) – Investigators of anti-graft agency KPK raided Indonesian state-utility firm (PLN) building on Monday afternoon.
Earlier on Sunday, KPK raided the firm’s CEO Sofyan Basyir’s house.
Basyir confirmed both raids and said that his status is still a witness in relation to KPK’s operation of an alleged bribe case last week that involved one member of the House of Representatives, Eni Maulani Saragih.
The project is handled by PLN’s subsidiary company Pembangkit Jawa Bali (PJB) dan PLN Batubara, 51 percent contribution, and a consortium that consists of Singapore-based Blackgold Natural Resources Ltd’s subsidiary Samantaka Batubara and China’s Huadian Engineering Co., Ltd.
here Basyir stated that PLN was not involved in the bribery case. It was the consortium, he said.
