JAKARTA, July 15 (JDN.id) – Indonesia’s top non-life insurance company, Adira Insurance along with its car insurance unit, Autocilin, will award road safety campaigner groups on Aug. 12.
Fifty community groups from Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi that work on road safety issues have been selected as candidates. They will be competing for the three best campaigners.
Transportation expert Edo Rusyanto has been appointed head of judges of Safety Campaign Award (SCA).
Adira’s head of CSR and Corporate Communications Department, Farida Rahmaningsih, leads the organising team of the competition.
Winners will be selected based on their ways of campaigning and how effective the methods are in tackling road safety issues.
Road safety campaigns in Indonesia mostly focus on the use of helmets for motorcyclists and vehicles expediency.
